I spoke to soon

Well here I am writing from the hospital. I guess I spoke too soon about being so healthy, I think I shouldnt speak out loud about how good I feel. It usually comes back to bite me:) So I ended up getting a cold which went to my lungs and started all sorts of problems. I have coughed like I have never coughed before which is saying a lot. I do have to say though that I am so absolutely grateful for the power of the priesthood and that all worthy males can have this gift. I recived a blessing a last Wednesday when I could tell that I was getting more sick than originally thought. It told me a lot of things that I already knew but gave me comfort just the same. Then yesterday when Ben brought me up to the hospital I wasnt sure whether to have him give me another blessing or not. We decided that all was well. Well after some craziness in the wee hours of the morning this morning I knew that I needed another blessing. Luckily we have some good friends that live right in Salt Lake. So our good friend Jake came up and was able to give me the blessing that I needed for comfort and piece of mind. I am just so grateful to have such great friends that live their lives worthy to be able to administer their priesthood ordinances when called upon. It is a great feeling to know that when my family is unavailable I can call on many others to do the same thing. What an amazing thing the lord has given us. I truly feel blessed to be able to always have that knowledge that gives me such great peace. Thank you Jake for your friendship and worthiness and thanks Erin for lending him for a bit. You guys are awesome!

Hey Em - I hope you get to feeling better soon!! I am so grateful for the priesthood, too. So yeah - moving, well turns out I'm not moving now - at least not yet. It's been crazy. I really need to call you! Basically the job didn't feel right so I'm going to hold out for a better one. :)

Em I am sorry to hear you are in the hospital, but grateful for the comfort that always comes from a loving Heavenly Father. I would love to come and see you. Which hospital are you in and how long do you think you will be there?

As always, sorry to hear you are in the hospital, but hope that you get feeling better soon. Isn't the power of the Priesthood so amazing? Our Heavenly Father loves each of us so much, and has given us things to help us know how much, and that He's always there for us. Thanks for your testimony!

Emilee I am so sorry. I am in salt lake and would be more than happy to come by and visit. Let me know what hospital you are in and if I can do anything else. If you need someone to watch cambree so you and ben can have sometime with each other I would be more than happy.

I am glad that I got to come and see you yesterday. It was great to sit and talk to you. I know we don't have enough time together to talk like we used to. I love that we just start right up like we saw each other the day before. Thank you for all you do for me and my family. I appreciate everything- especially your inspiration and guidance. I do hope you get feeling better.

Oh Emilee, you can borrow Jake anytime you'd like. I was sad and shocked to hear that you were in the hospital again. Only because I just saw you and you said you felt the best you've ever felt. Well, I know you'll get better :)
I will for sure come visit you. We're going camping again this weekend but we'll come up after that! Get better. We love you tons! You're in our prayers!
